BMW wheel help

I would of course remove the plastidip. My question is about what these 15 inch style 29s came from. My research showed that 16 inch style 29s came on the e39 (which would require hub centric rings for my e34) but I can’t find anything (offset) on the 15s or know if they will fit. They look a little pushed out on the 3 series they’re on which makes me think they’ll look normal on my 5 serries.

The plan is buy these then get snow tires on my crappy stock style 2s.

I ran anywhere from ET15 to ET0 offset on my e34 and it set just fine :] Anything higher and it’ll rub on the top of the shock. Not sure what the offset is on the 29’s :’(

They came from an e39 so they should be the right offset I just need the hub rings. It looks like only early e39s had 15 inch wheels.

I don’t know the offset but I’m sure it will fit. It is written on the wheel so you could always contact the seller and ask

Edit: according to bmwstylewheels.com, the style 29s were sold in 15” on the e36, e34, and e39 so you should just ask what they came off of and get all of the details straight from the wheel. http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/29

style 5s are cheaper and you find them for cheap in pick your own part yards. I think the style 5s have no issue on the e34.

I like those better anyway. These do have new tires though (cheap tires but I currently have cheaper ones from the previous owner). My indy bmw shop has stacks of old wheels. Might see what they have.

Early E39 528s came with a 15” BBS I think.
